UX Intern – TomTom – Amsterdam

What you’ll do

Contribute to shaping and improving the experience our TomTom customers. This internship focused on our B2B domain.

Collaborate with designers, product managers and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using industry-standard design tools, such as Figma.

Help develop information architectures, experience maps and interaction flows for intuitive and seamless user experiences end-to-end. 

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design library, including design specifications.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of UX/CX design.

Seek feedback from end-users and implement improvements based on their needs and preferences.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to ensure alignment and integration of design efforts.

Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations and design reviews to internal stakeholders.

What you’ll need

You should be enrolled as a full-time student in a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship (February 2025)

Provide the link to your Portfolio or projects demonstrating interaction design work.

You are available to start 1st of August

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Proactive learning attitude and curiosity

Self motivated and driven 

Experience with Figma, and other design tools

Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

A strong systematic approach and interest for B2B domain

Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating seamless user experiences

Having knowledge about Design Systems and being curious about low-code technology is a bonus

What can you expect from us

1100 Euros/month (gross salary based on full-time work)

6 months internship contract.
