Job description THIS POSITION IS 100% ONSITE FOR TEMPORARY Candidates must live in the Alkmaar area or have their own transportation to commute. Purpose of the Role Ensure the timely and accurate collection of accounts receivable. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial and operational processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices through phone, email, and written communication. Manage and respond to incoming inquiries from customers and internal stakeholders. Maintain strong and professional relationships with customers to support effective credit management. Reconcile customer accounts, process payments, and match credits and debits accurately. Investigate and resolve account discrepancies by engaging directly with customers. Identify, log, and resolve payment disputes efficiently. Work to minimize the overall open accounts receivable balance. Ensure customer data is accurate and up to date in systems such as AX and Credit Device (e.G., contact details, billing addresses, and invoicing contacts). Request and process detailed payment specifications from customers as needed. Requirements Fluent in German, both speaking and writing Assertiveness – Able to confidently follow up on overdue payments while maintaining professionalism. Customer Orientation – Focused on delivering a positive customer experience while ensuring compliance. Communication Skills – Clear and effective in both written and verbal communication. Commitment – Dedicated to achieving results and meeting deadlines. Teamwork – Works well with colleagues across departments to achieve shared goals. Residing in or near Alkmaar.
