Technician (Downstream Processing / mRNA)

Responsibilities and Duties

Experimentation: Prepare and conduct experiments related to Downstream Processing activities, specifically focusing on mRNA/Lipid Nanoparticle projects;

Equipment and Materials: Responsible for the preparation of equipment and materials essential for the experiments;

EHSS Compliance: Execute experiments in line with EHSS (Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability) requirements;

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with BPD scientists, engineers, and the team lead in the development and transfer of (customer) projects;

Quality Focus: Maintain a strong focus on quality and adherence to project specifications during experimentation;

Communication and Coordination: Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team for the successful execution of experiments.

Requirements and Qualifications

3 years of experience, preferably in handling of nucleic acids and/or lipid nanoparticles in the context of process development;

Accurate, structured, flexible, and quality and safety-conscious;

Team player with a high degree of autonomy;

Good English written and oral communicative skills;

You reside in and are eligible to work in The Netherlands (valid work permit).
