Job Title: Test Engineer-Functional testing.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through functional testing, test planning, and defect management. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve defects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software applications meet functional and quality requirements
- Conduct functional testing of TAP applications, including testing methodologies, types of testing, and defect management
- Collaborate with development team to identify and resolve defects, and provide feedback on software quality
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Utilize testing tools to automate testing processes and improve testing efficiency
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in functional testing of TAP applications, SDLC, testing methodologies, types of testing, test planning and documentation, defect management, and testing tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects
- Experience with agile development methodologies and testing tools
- HBO or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Optional certifications in ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant certifications.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and tools
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools
- Experience with test data management and test environment setup
