Overview
In this role you will design, implement, and deploy production-ready machine learning models that power Adyen’s data products. You join a team focused on diagnostics, data analytics, and regulatory reporting to help merchants optimize payment performance and maintain compliance across markets. You will work at scale, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into ML solutions and monitor their impact. The role blends research with engineering, offering a chance to shape real-world systems and stay at the forefront of ML applications.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Research, design, train, deploy and monitor ML algorithms for batch or real-time use
- Build orchestrated data and ML pipelines for analytics and training
- Automate experiments, training runs, validation, and monitoring across deployment stages
- Collaborate with MLOps to improve tooling and deployment processes
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to translate problems into ML tasks
- Analyze large, complex datasets to find patterns and opportunities for ML solutions
- Define KPIs, design experiments (A/B tests), and quantify business impact
- Contribute to regulatory reporting automation to keep Adyen compliant across markets
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning or data science
- Experience with full ML model lifecycle in production
- Proficiency with big data pipelines to feed models
- Solid software engineering practices and data engineering/MLOps understanding
- Strong background in statistics, ML for prediction, and causal inference; DL experience a plus
- Familiarity with (py)spark, (Trino) SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost/LightGBM, Pandas, MLFlow or similar MLOps, and Airflow
- Proactive, leads projects from ideation to deployment and communicates outcomes clearly
- Keeps up-to-date with ML research and applies it where valuable
