All about the role…

The Groceries, Convenience & Retail team at Thuisbezorgd.nl is on a mission to grow this new vertical rapidly. With eCommerce in Grocery, Convenience & Retail (non-food) as a fast growing market, this presents a strategic business opportunity, and we are determined to become the sector’s leader. This team is responsible for the strategic vision, acquisition and development of the largest partnerships in the Netherlands. As the Senior Key Account Manager, you play a critical role in achieving this ambition.

As part of this varied role, we’re counting on you to:

  • Acquire, manage and develop partnerships, including sourcing, negotiating and developing deals with major Grocery, Convenience & Retail (non-food) partners;
  • Meet and exceed sales goals through lead generating, prospecting, qualifying, managing, closing and implementing sales opportunities;
  • Have an innovative mindset and proactive approach to capitalise on market opportunities in a dynamic landscape;
  • Be a driven and positive individual who excels in a fast-paced environment and contributes to our growth journey;
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring continuous growth and success within this exciting new vertical;
  • Be the ‘voice of the customer’ and build a strong cross-functional network to cater to the needs of our partners and drive our internal agenda

Can you deliver…

We are looking for someone who is driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You are ready to get on board and help us unlock this future growth engine! What you bring to the table…

  • 5+ years’ experience in (KAM) sales roles, of which 3 years at least in Grocery, retail & Convenience landscape (eg FMCG supplier or retailer experience)    
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;    
  • Ability to coordinate & close complex deals and build key relationships;  
  • Proven track record of making commercially sound, data-driven decisions;    
  • A customer-focused and innovative outlook, optimising work processes across your job;    
  • Acts on opportunities, generates new ideas and acts decisively in an often changing environment;     
  • Fluent in Dutch and highly proficient in English (written & spoken)
