PwC

Description

& Summary

Are you interested in the evolution of technology and risk management? Do you want to have an impact on organisations (both public and large corporates) and our society? Are you excited by the challenges and opportunities presented by changing regulations and digital developments, such as cloud service platforms and continuous deployment? Are you ready to bring your fresh ideas to a large international organisation where you will have many opportunities to develop yourself professionally and personally? Then you are the Senior Consultant Technology, Risk, and Control we are looking for!

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key part of our multidisciplinary teams to help clients successfully execute and coordinate Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance assignments. In this role, you will advise both public sector organisations and large corporates on managing risk and assessing controls in an increasingly complex environment. You will also advise on changing IT laws and regulations. As part of an international and inclusive team, you will be involved throughout the process. You will coordinate and manage various aspects of the process, but you will also work together closely with your team.

As a Senior Associate Technology, Risk & Control, your work will include:

  • Advising clients on issues relating to processes and (IT) risks.
  • Advising high-end clients to better deploy their digital infrastructure, using automated controls and monitoring to enhance their risk management.
  • Guiding clients in implementing new IT systems with appropriate ‘controls by design’.
  • Working as part of a team, you will map operational and IT processes and make recommendations to implement improvements, such as more efficient and targeted controls.
  • Coaching (junior) colleagues so that they can develop the necessary skills and content knowledge.
  • Staying up to date with the latest developments in digital tools, innovative solutions, and market trends.
  • You understand the requirements of controlled environments and know how to help clients simplify and automate complex processes within those frameworks. You will play the role that is best suited to the specific situation, which may vary from one project to another. This can include optimising the control framework, automating processes, guiding clients in the use of new technologies, and addressing compliance issues related to changing IT laws and regulations.

To meet our clients’ needs, we continually invest globally in the development of our people, our capabilities, and the innovative tools we use to help our clients achieve sustainable change and stay ahead of the competition.

    Does this describe you?

You are people-oriented and socially adept in political, dynamic, and complex environments. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams. You are also a team player and a good listener who can clearly communicate ideas to colleagues and clients to find the best solutions together. You combine strategic and analytical insight with a passion for technology and compliance, and you are a go-getter. You work meticulously and are able to take a wide range of stakeholders into account in your work. In addition, you are able to create powerful reports, visuals, and presentations for (senior) management.

  • You have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience developing and implementing risk control frameworks, compliance assignments, and other IT/digital projects in the area of Governance, (IT) Risk Management, and Compliance.
  • You understand the importance of risk management and controls within organisations.
  • You have a passion for the latest technologies and are able to easily master them.
  • You have a completed master’s degree from a research university in information management, innovation management, technical business administration, business administration, or another business- or IT-related study.
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English and can adapt easily to changing work environments.
  • You are able and willing to travel, sometimes within the Netherlands and sometimes abroad, as required by an assignment.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, such as Power BI, Alteryx, UiPath, Tableau, or Dataiku is an advantage.
  • Experience with and knowledge of (IT) laws and regulations is an advantage.
  • What are we offering?
