As a SAS Application Developer, you will:
- Develop, customize, and optimize SAS code, including macro programming and integration with external data sources.
- Work within Unix and Windows environments to support SAS-based applications.
- Analyse, design, code, test, debug, and document programming on assigned applications to meet business requirements.
- Provide solutions that adhere to regulatory compliance requirements, including Basel regulations, prudential reporting, RWA/RCM calculations, and IFRS regulations.
- Utilize SAS orchestration skills and contribute as an SAS RCM developer.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 8-10 years of experience writing customized SAS code, with strong skills in SAS macro programming and connectivity to external data stores.
- At least 8 years of experience as an Application Developer with a focus on SAS programming and data analytics.
- Proficiency in Base SAS Programming and SAS Macro Programming.
- Hands-on experience working in Unix and Windows environments.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, including Basel regulations, prudential reporting, RWA/RCM calculations, and IFRS regulations.
- Experience in SAS orchestration and developing SAS RCM solutions.
You should possess the ability to:
- Analyze and interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable SAS code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAS programs and associated environments.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver regulatory-compliant data analytics solutions.
- Document programming processes and maintain a clear version control of SAS code.
