In essence, your role involves

  • Leading and managing the trading of THG quotas, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to expand our impact.
  • Providing expert insights and staying ahead of legal and market developments related to THG quotas and renewable energy.
  • Maximizing revenue from THG trading by leveraging our existing network and spotting new market opportunities.
  • Supporting the registration process with environmental authorities, facilitating seamless trading transactions.
  • Collaborating closely with the trading team, aligning on strategy, and sharing valuable market intelligence.

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes

  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s, preferably in Business, Economics, or Finance;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in emissions trading, renewable energy certificates, or related environmental commodities.
  • Deep understanding of the Fuel Quality Directive (FQD) and THG quota regulations.
  • Proven success in trading with a strong revenue generation track record.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and comfort with complex regulatory details.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
