Sales Account Manager – Resideo – Amsterdam

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for sales and margin targets within a specified group of accounts across installation, housing associations, consultancy, and wholesale. The position reports to the Country Sales Leader Netherlands & MD.

You will be responsible for selling a range of Honeywell Home branded products and solutions including thermostats and valves. The role requires extensive travel across the Noord-Holland region with 1 day per week based onsite in our Amsterdam office.

The chosen candidate will be part of a successful, customer-friendly but above all enthusiastic sales team, focused on turnover and profit. 

JOB DUTIES:

  • Sales Strategy: identifying opportunities and isolating threats to market position. 
  • Formulating improvements in product/market combinations and profiling the organization and its products in the market, focusing on the development and profitability of the product range.
  • Starting up strategic partnerships within (larger) organizations within the Netherlands.
  • Sales plan: Formulating objectives and activities (actions) for the sales and marketing of products. Predicting the expected turnover (forecast) of products per region. Creating support for management objectives.
  • Sales process: Managing the progress of sales activities and sales results. Resolving bottlenecks in the sales organization and problems with the sales activities.
  • Support the sales team in fostering contacts that add value to the customer and lay the foundation for a profitable and lasting relationship. Build and maintain relationships with major accounts and prospects.
  • Management Reports: Review sales and marketing performance in relation to objectives. Analyze trends and assess causes for deviations from objectives. Formulate improvements in product sales and marketing.
  • YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 5 years of working experience in a sales/key account management position within a technical environment
  • Ability to achieve results through the transfer of sales strategies, plans and management reports
  • Driving license and the ability to travel within Noord-Holland 
  • Excellent oral and written skills in the Dutch and English languages
  • WE VALUE:

  • Knowledge of thermostats, valves, boilers, and/or similar products (desirable rather than essential)
  • Degree in a technical discipline
