We’re looking for a Project Purchasing Manager with strong experience in procurement and logistics. With a gross salary of up to €5700 per month, you’ll manage warehouse operations, collaborate with manufacturing and R&D teams, and ensure smooth alignment between procurement and production needs. Manpower is for a company looking for a Project Purchasing Manager in Hengelo.

As a Project purchasing manager you will: 

  • Manage procurement for specific projects, ensuring materials are delivered on time and within budget
  • Use ERP systems to handle supplier data, purchase orders, track orders, and monitor performance
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues like delays or quality defects
  • Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and prompt payment according to agreed terms
  • Handle claims and defects by collaborating with suppliers to resolve issues quickly, minimizing project delays
  • Manage transportation logistics, including shipping and customs clearance when necessary
  • Provide regular procurement updates, identifying risks and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to align procurement with project requirements, production schedules, and inventory needs

Functie-eisen

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or similar.
  • Experience in procurement or purchasing management roles, preferably in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems for order management and reporting.
  • Familiarity with LEAN production principles and their application in optimizing inventory management and production processes
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and experience implementing process enhancements to drive efficiency and reduce waste in procurement, supply chain, and inventory management operations
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs clearance procedures, and Incoterms (preferred
