Are you a seasoned networking professional with a passion for delivering reliable, high-performance connectivity? Do you thrive in a dynamic, multi-location environment where your expertise directly enhances guest satisfaction? If so, we invite you to become our Network Manager and help shape the future of our hospitality operations.
In our holiday parks, guest satisfaction is our priority. A reliable, high-quality network is essential for seamless Wi-Fi, smart IoT solutions, and effortless connectivity. Our mission is to keep guests connected, whether they’re sharing memories, streaming entertainment, or using smart park services.
As Network Manager, you will design, implement, and oversee a robust, scalable network infrastructure that supports our growing operations. While the daily management of the network is fully outsourced to an external partner, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with this outsourcing partner. Your role includes monitoring KPIs and SLAs to ensure service quality, addressing escalations, and ensuring the network meets business needs. The outsourcing partner is responsible for the actual execution, including maintenance, incident resolution, and updates. You will focus on strategic network design, Wi-Fi performance, internal communication systems, and cross-departmental connectivity, ensuring the infrastructure is secure, efficient, and scalable for future growth.
This role involves overseeing the installation, configuration, and optimization of critical network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Ensuring network reliability across multiple locations will require regular performance monitoring, analysis, and proactive adjustments. In the event of disruptions, you’ll lead swift, effective resolutions to minimize guest impact. Collaboration with other departments is essential to align infrastructure development with business goals. You’ll also manage relationships with external partners and vendors, evaluating services, negotiating contracts, and overseeing installations.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Analyze network traffic patterns and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to enhance reliability, speed, and efficiency.
- Plan and execute network upgrades to support business growth, such as adding new park locations, increasing bandwidth, and incorporating the latest technologies.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors, evaluating and selecting service providers, and overseeing equipment procurement and service agreements.
You will join a skilled infrastructure team with a Lead Infra Architect, Infra Manager, Network Manager, and Cloud Operations Manager, led by John van Wijk, Head of IT Infrastructure. Together, you’ll safeguard the reliability, scalability, and security of our IT infrastructure, ensuring exceptional connectivity experiences for all our guests.
Your work location is our new office on Wibautstraat in Amsterdam. Of course, working from home is possible, but it is desirable that you work from the office at least 3 days a week.
What we’re looking for
- 5-10 years of experience in network engineering or network support, with a track record of managing complex, multi-location infrastructures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- In-depth understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Proficiency with network hardware and software tools for performance monitoring and security.
- Strong knowledge of network security practices, including threat management and vulnerability assessment.
- Experience in vendor management and leading network-related projects from planning to post-implementation.

Together, we go all out to offer the best to our guests and our colleagues. If you participate, we will reward your work with:

- Flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home.
- Home working allowance of €2.40 per home working day.

- Various collective insurances, including free continuous travel insurance for you and your family.
Full-time employment at Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have part-time employment, your salary and holidays will be prorated.
