At Vinted Go, the OpsTech domain develops tech solutions that enhance logistics operations, directly improving how millions of shipments are delivered. Beyond moving packages, your work will contribute to empowering Vinted users to live more sustainably.
As the Manager of Data Science & Analytics (DSA), you’ll lead our data efforts, identifying opportunities to unlock value, developing scalable ways of working, and ensuring impactful execution.
Your Role:
You will lead two dynamic teams:
- OpsTech Intelligence (5 members): A central team of Decision Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and Data Scientists focused on maintaining high-quality data pipelines, conducting strategic deep dives, and delivering insights that support operations.
- OpsTech Product DSA (2 Decision Scientists): Embedded in product teams, ensuring data-driven decisions, robust metrics, and effective experimentation.
OpsTech DSA has already built a strong foundation. Now, you’ll take it to the next level. Your key priorities will include:
- Scaling for Growth: Design processes and structures to support our expansion into new markets, improving efficiency without increasing headcount.
- Unlocking Machine Learning Potential: Leverage our established infrastructure to build and integrate ML models that drive operational improvements.
- Leading Experimentation: Promote the adoption of automated experimentation in product teams and champion scientific experimentation within the Intelligence team.

In this position, you’ll
- Lead and mentor two data teams, shaping their vision, processes, and ways of working.
- Build scalable processes to support business and operational growth.
- Collaborate with Directors of Product, Design, and Engineering to identify strategic opportunities and solve key business challenges.
- Align with stakeholders to set objectives, prioritize effectively, and plan the OpsTech Intelligence roadmap.
- Foster a strong culture of data-driven decision-making through improved metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Drive the adoption and integration of machine learning models to unlock new opportunities.
- Champion experimentation as a core practice across teams.
- Tackle complex challenges through hands-on technical contributions where needed.
About you
- Expertise in Data Science, Analytics, or a related field, with a proven ability to deliver business value through data and insights.
- Experience leading and mentoring data teams, fostering collaboration and growth.
- Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (e.g., Python, R).
- Strong skills in SQL and familiarity with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Solid understanding of statistical methods (e.g., A/B testing, regression analysis).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
