The client is a growing international organization specializing in the purchase, sale, and rental of forklifts and container handling equipment. They are located in the Western Port area of Amsterdam, with branches in Europe, Dubai, Africa, Australia, and Central America. They are currently expanding their business activities and offer excellent opportunities for further (international) growth within this role.
Functieomschrijving
You are an expert in freight transportation, also known as “the architect of transportation”;
You maintain good communication with customers, port authorities, shipping companies, transport companies, and customs agents;
In this role, you are involved daily in arranging transport for both import and export by road, sea, or air;
You regularly organize meetings with logistics partners to discuss reports, evaluate SLAs, and identify and implement process improvements. You handle the required documentation and administration;
You negotiate freight rates with carriers;
You are responsible for invoicing.
Profiel
MBO work and thinking level; Familiar with Incoterms;
Proven experience in a similar role;
Proficient in both Dutch and English;
Proficiency in German and/or French is a significant advantage.
Aanbod
Salary range between €3,000 and €4,000 gross per month;
Direct contract with the employer;
