About MMD

MMD serves worldwide markets from major regional offices including Amsterdam, Shanghai, Singapore, São Paulo and Fremont (EPI). Through its network of local sales teams MMD works with all major IT distributors and resellers. The company’s design and development center is located in Taiwan.

Scope

Amsterdam – The Demand Planning Intern for MMD assists with the perfect sales plan in certain appointed regions in Europe. This role will also assist with team reporting and coordinating. The Demand Planning Intern will report directly to the deputy manager of the Planning Team.

Responsibility

  • Manage Sample planning requests;
  • Manage the planning request from Customer Service;
  • Coordinate with the order desk team to avoid over-confirmation, over-shipment and speed up the sales of EOL models;
  • Assist with team reporting;
  • Coordinate team meetings.

  • Education And Related Experience

  • A student working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in SCM/Logistics or a similar study.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Availability for 6 months preferred
  • An eager, organized, motivated and proactive attitude
  • Reliable, accurate and operational focus.
  • Sufficient MS Excel skills.
