In this role you will define the AI and innovation direction for Operations, focusing on turning ideas into scalable outcomes. You will identify high-value use cases, shape an AI-native operating model, and drive domain-led re-engineering with measurable impact. You will lead a small team of Forward Deployed AI specialists and build credibility for AI across Ops through practical, value-focused work. You will collaborate with central engineering and enablement teams to ensure new capabilities land with Ops impact and upskilling. This role offers the chance to shape how Ops uses AI to improve customer experience, productivity, and scalability.

- Set the AI and innovation direction for Operations with a focus on meaningful value creation
- Identify and prioritise high-impact use cases based on business value and feasibility
- Lead the central Ops innovation model, including structure, ways of working, and enabling re-engineering
- Lead a team of Forward Deployed AI specialists to deliver scalable solutions
- Build credibility for AI across Ops via practical examples and value-focused storytelling
- Stay current on AI landscape and translate insights into Ops strategy and implementation
- Coordinate with central enablement and capability teams to connect new capabilities to Ops needs and ensure upskilling
- Represent Operations in central engineering to secure understanding, framing, and support for Ops priorities
- Track progress and value delivered, maintaining focus on outcomes over activity
