Overview
In this role you will own the record-to-report process for Operational Expenses, acting as the link between operations and financial data. You will ensure accurate GL bookings and a clean trial balance as Adyen scales. You’ll apply rigorous controls across P2P and R2R, validate data from FinOps, and manage supplier accruals and prepaid assets. You’ll proactively detect risks and anomalies in the ledger, serving as a first line of defense for data integrity. This role sits in our centralized Finance Operations team in Amsterdam, supporting the financial integrity of a listed company.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own the accuracy of GL bookings for Operational Expenses and maintain a clean trial balance
- Apply controls across P2P and R2R cycles; validate data from FinOps; manage supplier accruals and prepaid assets
- Act as financial gatekeeper for high-value transactions; perform due diligence to ensure accuracy
- Regularly review the ledger to detect trends or vulnerabilities and protect data integrity
- Manage Fixed Asset Register (capitalization, depreciation, lease accounting per IFRS 16)
- Handle intercompany bookings and reconciliations; perform month-end variance analysis; support audits
Belangrijkste vereisten
- At least three years of experience in GL accounting within P2P and R2R processes
- Detail-oriented and analytical with focus on balance sheet integrity
- Collaborative across FinOps, Controllers, Tax lawyers and other stakeholders
