A great opportunity to understand financial analysis, business control and financial forecasting of a market-leader in the international travel space. You will also be part of and work on specific projects and support the daily operations of the different teams in the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) organization.

We are currently looking for a FP&A Intern to be part of the dynamic and fast-paced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role you will build a great understanding of the FP&A organization at Booking.com.as well as learn to work with a variety of (financial) systems.

Due to the rapid and continuous growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role will evolve over time. You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and challenge yourself to take on additional projects and responsibilities as they present themselves.

 As an FP&A Intern you will be responsible for:

  • Assist with business planning, financial forecasting, and variance analysis;
  • Support with the creation of scalable and insightful reporting of key metrics;
  • Work with accounting and business teams on month-end close to accurately report results including explanatory comments;
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, scenarios and benchmarking as needed and contribute to new business/expansion/cost control projects and process improvement as and when business requires.
  • As an FP&A Intern you will have: 

  • Enrolled in a Masters or Bachelor’ degree in Business, Finance, or other related field;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Financial modeling and analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of SQL, data mining and Microsoft VBA is a plus;
  • Some experience with business partnering is a plus;
  • A critical mindset and a strong desire to aid in data-driven decision making;
  • Proactive Attitude;A strong team player and self-starter who also has the ability to work independently;
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and in an unstructured environment

    To be eligible for this internship, you need to be living in the Netherlands, attending a University of applied science

    For this position you will be required to be in the Amsterdam Campus 4 days a week.
