Job Description:
Are you known for your problem-solving skills and customer-first mindset? A major international client in the gaming sector is looking for a dedicated service representative to join their dynamic team near Schiphol. If you’re proactive, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and have a passion for delivering excellent service, this could be your next opportunity.
Your Role
You’ll be based at a large-scale logistics hub near Amsterdam, working at the heart of operations that handle inbound and outbound shipments for global clients. Your responsibilities include managing incoming goods, monitoring inventory, organizing shipments, resolving issues, and maintaining communication with customers. You act as the key contact for clients, ensuring smooth and accurate order handling from start to finish.
You’ll stay in close contact with your warehouse team, keeping an eye on product availability and the status of outgoing deliveries. Any hiccups in the process—like stock mismatches or transport delays—will be yours to solve, always with the customer’s experience as the top priority. Your daily tasks include:
- Handling order processing, invoicing, and shipment coordination
- Identifying delivery issues early and proactively updating clients
- Preparing performance reports and sharing key updates with stakeholders
- Addressing complaints or claims and passing them to the appropriate team
- Maintaining a clear overview of processes while working closely with colleagues in operations
You’ll be joining a tight-knit team that values collaboration, international culture, and a good sense of humor. Professionalism and fun go hand in hand here.
Your Background
- Solid understanding of customer service in logistics, including inbound/outbound processes and inventory management
- Previous experience in a related position (customer service, logistics coordinator, or admin support)
- Comfortable handling shipping terms and basic customs procedures
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Energetic, solutions-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture
What’s Offered
- 28 vacation days per year (for full-time employment)
- Monthly salary between €2,500 and €3,500, based on experience, plus 8% holiday pay
- Opportunities for development through internal and external training programs
- Access to employee perks like tax-friendly purchase programs and bike leasing
- Enjoyment at work through fun break-time activities like table tennis, darts, and relaxation spaces
- A fixed-term contract to start, with strong potential for extension
