We’re seeking a hands-on, strategically minded Country Manager to take on the next step in your career and lead our expansion in the Benelux region.

Mover is a profitable scale-up logistics technology company headquartered in Copenhagen, with IKEA as a shareholder and global partner. To drive our growth in the Benelux market, we seek an experienced leader who can both strategically build our presence and deliver operational excellence.

Your role

As Country Manager, you will have full commercial accountability and P&L responsibility for scaling our presence out of our offices in Amsterdam. You will build, lead, and inspire a local team of specialists to leverage our best practices with close support from our domain specialists in Copenhagen. Initially, you will also be driving strategic client outreach with support from our global sales team in Copenhagen until team expansion can be achieved organically.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead market growth and daily operations, with direct P&L responsibility in alignment with and support from our headquarters in Copenhagen.
  • Proactively identify, approach, and establish relationships with new strategic clients to drive market growth.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing local team aligned with our standards of quality and service excellence.
  • Closely collaborate with central Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR teams in Copenhagen, ensuring consistency and leveraging best practices.
  • Maintain high operational standards, compliance with local regulations, and adherence to our values and brand.

Your profile

We’re seeking a highly driven and talented individual that is able to ‘connect the dots’ and find your way in the ambiguous setting that a scale-up can be. You must have the bandwidth and the framework to conceptualize and lead business development – both operationally and commercially. Your energy and ambition are positively affecting those around you, and you probably have a great sense of humor.

  • Leadership capabilities: Proven ability to lead teams and drive strong commercial results, ideally within logistics, technology, or related industries.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Proactive, independent, and with the grit to navigate challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking: Structured problem-solver with the ability to analyze complex data and execute strategic growth plans.
  • Customer and market development: Strong track record in building strategic customer relationships and value-driven collaborations, with deep experience in the Benelux region.
  • Communication and language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English, with professional experience in the Benelux. French is a plus.
