Role and responsibilities
The Compliance Lead acts as a trusted advisor / leader and works closely with the Compliance team, Tribe Leads and Area Leads. He / She participates in the intragroup policy board, owns the Strategic Compliance Review as well as the monitoring of the compliancy of the internal sourcing contracts, and the Exit and contingency plans, while advising and supporting management and the delivery organization in providing mature, reliant, secure, and compliant services.
The activities of the Compliance Lead include:
Leading a team of compliance officers;
Ensure that the ING group compliance events are timely scheduled and carried out (strategic service reviews, legal changes validation, contract compliance, SOCII);
Working with upstream suppliers to retain end to end compliance to regulation;
Supporting the Service Manager(s) and Service Owner(s) in consumer meetings;
Developing and following-up on In-Control Statements and the ING risk framework;
Monitoring contracts/service delivery with and from internal and external suppliers.

are able to translate regulation (., EBA guidelines, DORA, into tangible deliverables for our engineering community;
can lead and enthuse a group of (compliance) consultants and service managers in line with our roadmap;
are a knowledgeable sparring partner for every level in the organization (from engineer to CIO);
have experience in reporting risks and controls regarding designated business processes;
have experience with (intra) company service agreements and contracts;
have experience in working with (internal) auditors and regulators;
have strong problem-solving skills;
have an interest in complex technical IT environments;
like to work on global solutions;
have very good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ideally, you’ll have:
· Education at Bachelor/Master level with a strong technical background in IT;
· Compliance Management in IT: 4 years;
· IT Risk Management: 5 years;
· Experience working in an Agile organization and banking environment.
