Overview
As Corporate Finance Transactor, you help originate, structure and execute debt-focused finance solutions for middle-market clients across EMEA. You collaborate with coverage, product, and industry teams to deliver Citi’s corporate finance platform and support strategic fundraising. You’ll build cash flow models, assess viability, and contribute to deal execution and credit processes. This role offers impact across cross-border transactions within a global bank and exposure to private equity-backed opportunities.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Support corporate & sponsor finance transactors by engaging with clients and participating in meetings and pitches
- Prepare marketing materials with insights on financing options and strategic alternatives
- Maintain and analyze deal pipeline with market trends and cross-country replication potential
- Develop market data sources and analytics infrastructure for the team
- Conduct industry analysis including peer benchmarking and client analysis
- Contribute to strategic initiatives of the Corporate & Sponsor Finance team
- Prepare detailed debt structures, cash flow models and valuation inputs
- Review client business plans and funding strategies; conduct due diligence
- Assess transaction viability and prepare/ review deal term sheets
- Input on credit analysis and assist in deal approvals and loan documentation
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 2-4 years banking or relevant experience
- Knowledge of corporate finance and capital markets
- Knowledge of credit analysis, structuring, financing products and financial modelling
- Exposure to syndicated loans and other capital market solutions
- Experience as part of a deal team and in transaction coordination
- Exposure to legal documentation
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with financial databases (Factset, CapitalIQ, Dealogic)
- Strong presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Team player with stakeholder relationship building
- Positive can-do attitude in unstructured environments
