Overview
As an Analytics Engineer at Mollie, you will build and maintain dbt data models and robust data pipelines that feed dashboards and reconciliation processes. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Merchant Finance, and Treasury to ensure accurate data around Mollie’s money movements. You’ll implement data quality checks and monitoring to maintain trusted data for financial analysis. This role combines hands-on data modeling with cross-functional partnerships to enable daily reconciliation and data-driven decisions in a fast-growing payments context.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Build and maintain dbt data models from raw sources to consumable mart tables powering tooling and dashboards for financial processes
- Collaborate with engineers to understand Mollie money movements and ensure correct data modeling
- Partner with Merchant Finance & Treasury to define and track key financial data for daily reconciliation
- Implement data quality validation checks, testing frameworks, and proactive monitoring to ensure high trust in data used for analysis and decision making
- Develop tooling to visualize and report data in BI tooling to support end users
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Strong SQL foundation with data modelling and automation experience
- Proficient in dbt; BigQuery/GCP and Airflow experience are a plus
- Ability to take a helicopter view and identify what matters
- Skilled in stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams, with ability to challenge senior stakeholders
- Experience in financial data and processes; fintech/banking experience a plus
