Job Description

As an Actuarial Consultant, you will:
  • Work on actuarial reserve valuation and reporting projects, supporting the development, enhancement, and testing of models using Prophet or R3S.
  • Analyze client requirements and provide tailored solutions to business challenges.
  • Serve as an advisor to actuarial staff, offering expertise on complex actuarial functions.
  • Interact effectively with senior business leadership to present findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Understand and optimize valuation and reserve models to align with client expectations.
  • Provide guidance on insurance products and regulations specific to European markets.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in actuarial modeling and consulting, with expertise in Prophet or R3S.
  • Deep knowledge of core actuarial functions such as pricing, valuation, reporting, and modeling for Life and Pensions insurance businesses.
  • Strong familiarity with insurance industry regulations, particularly in the Netherlands or European markets.
  • Hands-on experience working with actuarial models in Excel.
  • Proven ability to advise and guide actuarial teams and managers on complex issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with C-suite executives.
  • A fully qualified Fellow or Associate Actuary (preferred).

  • Build and enhance actuarial models to meet evolving client and regulatory demands.
