We are looking for an Account Manager, to strengthen our Sales Team in Amsterdam. As an Account Manager, you’ll play a vital role in helping our business achieve its commercial objectives by achieving the sales targets assigned, managing, and developing the assigned customers’ portfolio by value-based selling and to give best possible service to our merchant customers. You will also implement and train our customers in new digital solutions and win new business and cross sell new products/services.
Main duties and responsibilities
Manage the assigned portfolio, both sell-in and sell-out
Document in CRM all merchant’s specific information and activity done
Deliver the Net Turnover and any other sales targets taking corrective action when result materially deviates from expected
Improve merchant’s knowledge and expertise with our services
Diligent implementation of group strategies and sales tools
Control the receivable to minimize bad debts exposure
Business Statistics analysis, presentation, discussion and action
Action plans and store visits in line to Global Blues Strategy
Manage the issuing solutions of the merchant
Administrative tasks, e.g. incoming phone calls and info email
Preferable skills and competencies

are interest in technical/digital solutions
have excellent communication and negotiation skills
have good knowledge of MS Office products and CRM
are fluent written and spoken Dutch and English
Business Knowledge/Educational Background
Experience from Sales or Account Management
Educational background from Sales, Marketing or Retail related studies
Previous work experience or knowledge from Retail
Experience from tax free business is beneficial
