About the Role
The Account Manager role is pivotal in our client retention strategy. By interfacing regularly with clients across various levels of seniority and multiple locations within assigned regions, you will play a key part in renewing and expanding client relationships. Responsible for all aspects of sales renewals, you will manage a dedicated Book of Business, ensuring client contracts, commitments, and product usage are optimized. Success in this role requires attention to detail, a proactive mindset, ownership of the renewal process, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and a confident telephone manner.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across all levels of seniority;
- Managing renewals proactively, ensuring timely and accurate completion;
- Promoting and enhancing client usage of subscriptions through regular interactions;
- Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive account growth;
- Providing accurate forecasts and updates in the CRM system;
- Conducting onboarding sessions for new clients to ensure seamless adoption of our solutions;
- Acting as a key liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve queries and concerns;
- Participating in regional events and campaigns to keep clients informed about relevant initiatives.
Requirements
- Be fluent in German (mandatory);
- Demonstrate experience in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B environment;
- Exhibit confidence and professionalism in telephone communication;
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively;
- Achieve sales targets consistently through effective strategies and execution;
- Adapt to fast-changing environments and handle challenges with strong problem-solving skills;
- Utilize familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce (preferred);
- Leverage knowledge of eLearning tools such as Brainshark and Highspot (desirable).
