Sous Chef – Qnis – Amsterdam


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to lead our culinary teams and uphold the exceptional standards of Ferilli’s Hospitality Group. The Sous Chef will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation while maintaining efficiency and profitability.

Ferilli’s Hospitality Group Sous Chef responsibilities;

  • Execute Ferilli’s menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary creativity
  • Manage and lead team of chef de parties and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Train and develop culinary staff on proper techniques, food safety standards, and adherence to recipes and plating guidelines
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management, food costing, and maintaining par levels of supplies
  • Collaborate with kitchen & restaurant management team to develop and refine menu offerings, special events and private dining experiences
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food quality throughout all kitchen areas

How to succeed as Sous Chef at Ferilli’s Hospitality Group;

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Parti in a high-end or fine dining Italian restaurant
  • In-dept knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients and culinary techniques
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a culinary team
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high demanding environment, multitask and meet expectations without compromising quality
