This position will be based on-site in Amsterdam that will require an individual to pick up incidents related to end user on-site support. These issues can be resolved desk-side. As well as incidents, we monitor a request queue that can include new starter hardware requests & accessory orders.
As well as OSS the technician will take part in IT Workplace Refresh Rollout projects each year, which can include replacing a specific model of laptops, PCs, iPads, and phones.
The team interfaces with the Global Service Desk and other global support groups to achieve the deliverables supporting the OSS contract.
Candidates will be required to have end-user support knowledge and experience with common tools.
A site in Lelystad also falls under the remit of this role, and it is supported remotely with a monthly visit scheduled by the team according to support needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively pick up, respond & own incidents and tasks in support queue. ServiceNow knowledge preferable
  • Correctly track incidents in a timely and accurate fashion. Working to specific SLAs
  • Lenovo PC (Desktops/Laptops) – Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
  • Ability to resolve Windows 10 Operating System Errors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite including MS Outlook & Teams
  • Ability to support Apple iPad and iPhone issues. InTune MDM knowledge preferable.
  • Owning IT Workplace Refresh projects
  • Computer imaging
  • Basic Network troubleshooting skills and knowledge
  • Ability to perform accurate network patching
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

  • Minimum 3 years experience in IT Support role
  • English & Dutch speaking
  • Candidates need to be flexible, efficient and able to work independently
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Strong sense of customer service and building customer relationships
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Ability to multitask
