Role and Responsibilities
Your main responsibility as Account Manager is to drive growth through the development and expansion of customer and channel relationships in different market segments, but mainly for new business opportunities & B2B.
Besides that your responsibilities are the following:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and new Buying Group customers to maximize the sales figures of assigned product portfolio
Negotiation with Forecasting, Terms & Conditions, Marketing Activities for increase sell in/sell out
Inform the organization about opportunities and challenges, prepare (out of the box) counterplans and act as a true market leader
All related marketing, sales activities to increase sell out
Collecting market & competitors’ information
Attends events of the company or accounts in order to represent the company, to give product information and to maintain a strong relationship with the accounts.
Creates clear sales reports (weekly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly) of the sales process, status and forecast for the following period. Analyze turnover data, collect recent marketing information, and control invoices. Compile an ongoing analysis of our market share in each product group by account.
Works and communicates efficiently with sales team of the division and other departments: credit & collection, order processing, logistic, extended sales force, marketing department.
Active participation in team meetings (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly).
Ensure that the sales budget of the division is spent on focused and agreed items according to the guidelines of the company.

Skills and Qualifications
Your skills and qualifications (Requirements)
As an Account Manager you have the following qualification(s):
Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as Account manager
Experience working with senior level management, both internal and external
Ability to develop a market entry strategy and action plan, working together on a regular basis with product/channel marketeers and supply chain specialists
Solution and technical product knowledge: understanding of solutions and needs
Market knowledge and experience: understands the vertical business drivers including key behaviors and strategies to engage
Experience driving opportunities, managing a sales pipeline and exceeding quota within nominated market segment
